Connect HTX
Your record starts the day you connect. We don't import past trades: everything on it is something we watched happen.
Make a read-only key on HTX
- Add a note such as ProvePnL.
- Leave Read-only ticked.
- Leave Trade and Withdraw unticked.
Tie the key to our address
In the key's settings, limit it to this IP address. Then the key only works from our server.
2.28.108.102
HTX deletes a key that is not tied to an IP address after 90 days. Tie the key to our address and it does not expire.
What HTX lets us read
- See what your account is worth
- Price what you hold in dollars
- Tell deposits and withdrawals apart from gains and losses
- Read your individual trades
HTX doesn't tell us what a key is allowed to do, so you'll confirm it is read-only, and your page will say it was you who confirmed it.
The secret is stored encrypted and never shown again, to you or anyone.
