Connect Kraken
Your record starts the day you connect. We don't import past trades: everything on it is something we watched happen.
Make a read-only key on Kraken
- Choose Create API key.
- Tick only the Query boxes: Query funds, Query open orders & trades, Query closed orders & trades, Query ledger entries.
- Leave everything that says Deposit, Withdraw, Create or Cancel unticked.
Tie the key to our address
In the key's settings, limit it to this IP address. Then the key only works from our server.

What Kraken lets us read
- See what your account is worth
- Price what you hold in dollars
- Tell deposits and withdrawals apart from gains and losses
- Read your individual trades
Kraken doesn't tell us what a key is allowed to do, so you'll confirm it is read-only, and your page will say it was you who confirmed it.
The secret is stored encrypted and never shown again, to you or anyone.
