Connect XT
Your record starts the day you connect. We don't import past trades: everything on it is something we watched happen.
Make a read-only key on XT
We don't have step-by-step instructions for XT yet. These steps work on most exchanges.
- Open the exchange's API settings and create a new key.
- Give it read access only. The box is usually called Read, View or Query.
- Leave trading, transfers and withdrawals off.
Tie the key to our address
In the key's settings, limit it to this IP address. Then the key only works from our server.

What XT lets us read
- See what your account is worth
- Price what you hold in dollars
- Tell deposits and withdrawals apart from gains and losses
- Read your individual trades
XT doesn't tell us what a key is allowed to do, so you'll confirm it is read-only, and your page will say it was you who confirmed it.
The secret is stored encrypted and never shown again, to you or anyone.
